Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to website owners.
The Eranos website currently uses only strictly necessary cookies — those essential for the website to function correctly. These cookies do not track you, collect personal data, or require your consent under UK PECR regulations.
We do not currently use:
Our website loads fonts via Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). This request may result in your IP address being transmitted to Google's servers. We are reviewing options to host these fonts locally to eliminate this data transfer entirely.
For information on how Google handles data, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
If you have access to the Eranos Client Portal (portal.eranos.co.uk), it sets one or more cookies to keep you signed in — a strictly necessary cookie, in the same category as those covered in Section 2. It does not track you or collect data beyond what is needed to maintain your session, and does not require consent under UK PECR regulations for the same reason.
sb-<project>-auth-token (Supabase's standard authentication cookie naming)The Portal may also use your browser's own local storage, not a cookie, for a small per-device preference — for example, whether you have already dismissed a notice this session. Nothing stored this way is sent to any server, and it is not used to track you.
Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, no consent banner is currently required under UK law. If we introduce any non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and implement an appropriate consent mechanism before doing so.
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Please refer to your browser's help documentation for guidance.
If we introduce new cookies or tracking technologies, this policy will be updated accordingly.
If you have any questions about our use of cookies, please contact us at hello@eranos.co.uk.
